We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team in a permanent part-time Holiday Relief role, offering 55 hours per fortnight, AM, PM and Night Shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while providing essential cover during planned staff leave, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

The Role

You’ll support residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts in our 89-bed home. Reporting to the Manager and working closely with the RN, you’ll help maintain a calm, supportive overnight environment. You'll provide secure, high-quality care in line with each resident's care plan. A strong understanding of residential aged care standards, along with empathy and compassion, is essential.

- be part of a rewarding not-for-profit organisation What you will do The Personal Care Worker Is Responsible For Ensuring Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.

Clinical

Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities. Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals, Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts Who are you and what will you bring?

Minimum

Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same) Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients Experience in working in an Aged Care setting Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Apply Today!
