About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant & Domestic Assistant to join our Community Care team in Kempsey.

This role involves providing person-centred support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities - Personal Care Assistant

- Assist clients with personal care including hygiene, grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Support mobility, transfers, and maintain a safe home setting
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, social support, and light domestic duties
- Build respectful, trusting relationships that promote client choice and independence
- Observe and report changes in clients' health or circumstances to your supervisor

Key Responsibilities - Domestic Assistant

- Vacuuming, dusting and mopping all floors
- Bathroom cleaning – shower, bath, toilet and vanity
- Kitchen cleaning – washing dishes,



wiping over all surfaces, cleaning out refrigerator & microwave
- Wiping down shelves and tabletops
- Organise drawers and closets
- Laundry
- Changing of bed linen
- Wiping windows

About You

You will bring

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Worker
- Current NSW Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach
- Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
- Reliability, punctuality, and integrity

Mandatory Requirements Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:

- Current National Police Check
- Valid Australian work rights
- Relevant training or willingness to complete training (First Aid, Manual Handling, Infection Control, etc.)
