About The Role This role presents an exciting opportunity to build on the strong foundations already in place to shape the future success of AES Hobart. As the Hospital Manager, you will lead the team of clinical, operations and support staff to ensure the delivery of quality care to the local community. Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager the role also has close interface with the leadership team and a broader national operations network.

This is a very hands-on role where your contribution will have a visible impact on team and overall hospital performance.



Accountable for overall performance including people, operational excellence and quality Enhance engagement and culture across a team of 70+ clinical and support employees Optimise workflows, rostering, and resource allocation while maintaining compliance Manage procurement, inventory control, and supplier relationships Drive initiatives to increase client retention, referrals and satisfaction Full-time position based onsite in Moonah (approx. 10 mins from Hobart CBD) About You While we are open minded to a range of transferrable skills and backgrounds, you might currently be: An experienced Practice Manager working in General Practice, Veterinary, Allied Health or Aged Care An Operations Manager in healthcare who wants to step into site leadership An experienced people leader in a similar role who is ready to take the next step into site leadership You Will Also Bring Ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments Experience delivering improvements to performance and engagement Effective communication skills and a team-oriented leadership style Advanced emotional intelligence and leadership capability Capability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders Benefits Remuneration for this role is c.
