We're looking for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives on autonomy and wants to make a genuine impact across multiple businesses.

This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, combining time in our CBD office and working from home.

The Opportunity

This is not a role where you'll be confined to one business unit or spend your days processing paperwork. You'll partner directly with leaders across multiple software businesses, helping them solve people challenges, strengthen capability and build high-performing teams.

No two days are the same. You might be coaching a manager through a complex employee relations matter in the morning, supporting an acquisition integration after lunch, and helping implement a new people initiative by the end of the day.

You'll have the prospect to influence outcomes, challenge thinking and help mature people practices across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

What You'll Be Doing

Partnering with Leaders

- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to leaders and managers.
- Coach leaders through performance,



capability and employee relations matters.
- Support organisational change and people initiatives across multiple businesses.

Employee Relations & Compliance

- Manage employee relations matters from initial advice through to resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and Jonas policies.
- Maintain fair, balanced and defensible HR practices.

Talent & Employee Experience

- Support onboarding for new employees and acquired businesses.
- Coordinate performance and development processes.
- Support professional and positive offboarding experiences.

Continuous Improvement

- Contribute to projects that improve HR systems, processes and ways of working.
- Leverage data, technology and AI to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Support policy reviews, audits and governance activities.
- Produce meaningful people insights to support business decisions.

About You

You're an experienced HR professional who combines strong judgement with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You know when to provide support, when to challenge thinking and how to help leaders navigate difficult conversations confidently. Most importantly, you're proactive.



You see opportunities to improve how things work and enjoy operating in a fast-moving environment where you can make a real contribution.

We're looking for someone who has:

- Significant experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and employee relations
- Experience managing ER matters and providing pragmatic, risk-based advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using HR systems such as Workday.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
- An interest in AI, automation and continuous improvement.
