An prospect is available for an HSE professional to join a major renewable energy project on a 12-month contract basis.
Working as part of an established project team, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring effective risk management across construction activities.
This role will suit a safety professional with experience on large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy or renewable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the project.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
- Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks.
- Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, project procedures and client requirements.
- Review and assist with risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and permit systems.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.
- Provide practical safety advice and coaching to supervisors, employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor environmental compliance and support environmental management initiatives.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities and continuous improvement programs
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an HSE Advisor role within construction, infrastructure, energy or similar high-risk industries
- Demonstrated experience implementing environmental management requirements on project sites
- Experience working on renewable energy projects, particularly wind farms, will be highly regarded
- Experience conducting investigations, inspections and audits
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
