HR Business Partner

Full time | Fixed term – 12 months | Location flexible across Intereach’s 16 office locations

Calling all experienced HR professional who enjoy being close to the action — building leadership capability, partnering with leaders, working through complex people matters and contributing to a workplace where teams feel well supported. We’re looking for someone practical, approachable and confident who can step into a 12-month HR Business Partner role and make a meaningful contribution across Intereach.

For over 50 years, Intereach has worked across the Riverina-Murray region of NSW and northern and central Victoria to strengthen communities and improve the social and personal wellbeing of children, families, older people, carers and people with disability.

About the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will work as a trusted advisor to leaders across Intereach, providing high-quality HR advice, coaching and practical people solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will support workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, change management, employee engagement, culture initiatives and leadership capability, while helping to ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, awards, policies and procedures.

This role will suit someone who can work with a high degree of independence, build strong stakeholder relationships and provide sound, practical advice in a fast-paced and values-led setting.

What You’ll Be Doing





- Building leadership capability through guidance, coaching, training and practical tools.
- Partnering with leaders provide contemporary HR advice and coaching across employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, workforce planning and change.
- Supporting managers to navigate complex people matters, including grievances, misconduct, performance concerns and workplace investigations.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR frameworks, policies, procedures and people processes.
- Supporting employee engagement, culture initiatives and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Working collaboratively with HR colleagues, Talent Acquisition and other internal stakeholders to deliver a responsive and high-quality HR service.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and supporting quality, compliance and audit activities.

About You

You are an experienced HR generalist who brings sound judgement, strong communication skills and a practical, people-centred approach. You are confident working with leaders at all levels, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable providing advice in complex or sensitive situations.

You will bring experience in employee relations, industrial relations, change management, performance management and conflict resolution, as well as a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. A tertiary qualification in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience,



is required. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Intereach locations from time to time will also be required.
