We are seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources Coordinator to join us on a permanent part-time basis (3 full days or 5 half days) working from our West Perth office. This hands-on role offers broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day HR activities, supporting leaders, and delivering workforce reporting. The Role:
- Coordinate end-to-end employee onboarding, including preparing employment contracts and facilitating a seamless onboarding experience.
- Partner with managers to provide first-level HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications.
- Prepare employment variations, HR correspondence and employee documentation.
- Support employee relations processes, performance management administration and probation reviews.
- Assist with visa and work rights administration to ensure legislative compliance.
- Coordinate Work Health and Safety (WHS) administration, reporting and record management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, including Employment Hero and Mango.
- Prepare workforce reporting and contribute to quarterly Board HR reporting.
- Support People & Culture initiatives and projects that enhance employee engagement and organisational capability.
- Liaise with remote HR Advisory team to ensure best practice HR support and consistent implementation across the business.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Officer or similar People & Culture role.
- Confidence working directly with managers and building trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational, coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a remote HR support team.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Employment Hero or similar is highly regarded.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable.
- A genuine desire to continue developing your HR career, with aspirations to progress into an HR Business Partner role.
