We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our People & Culture Team, based at either Brisbane (our Rocklea site) or Toowoomba. As a key member of the Team, you will support the broader HR Services function.
About the role To be successful in this role you will:
- Play a key role in providing high-quality support during our enterprise agreement negotiations and implementation
- Coordinate corporate wide programs such as annual performance reviews and employee benefits and recognition initiatives, annual People & Culture events, and job and careers exhibition activities
- Focus on providing strong governance, compliance and access controls around daily HR practices and systems
- Help identify and recommend appropriate learning and development solutions that meet organisational needs
- Contribute to broader HR projects
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Experience interpreting enterprise agreements and related legislation, preferably in an industrial or blue-collar environment
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, specifically the NES,
Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with a strong tendency to connect and build relationships
- Someone who thrives on variety and works with sound judgement
- Creative in identifying opportunities, and solutions focussed mindset
