Our client is a global leader in food processing and packaging equipment, looking for an Industrial Electrician to join their Melbourne team. This is a hands-on role covering electrical fault finding, breakdown response and preventative maintenance across a wide variety of high speed packaging and processing machinery.
What you'll do
- Attend breakdown calls and get equipment back up and running fast
- Carry out preventative maintenance and electrical fault finding
- Recognise when a fault is mechanical rather than electrical and escalate appropriately
- Build strong customer relationships on site across Victoria and South Australia
- Report on service visits and support continuous improvement
What you'll bring
- Industrial electrician trade qualification, not commercial or residential
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills, no PLC programming required
- Some mechanical aptitude and understanding
- Experience on food or packaging equipment highly regarded, but not essential
- Willingness to travel, including overnight stays
