Industrial Cleaner – Seafood Processing Facility

Red Coral Seafood – Bayswater, VIC Full-Time | Early Morning Start | 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday -Saturday 6 days per week

Red Coral Seafood is a busy seafood processing and distribution business based in Bayswater. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join our team and maintain the high hygiene and food-safety standards required throughout our facility.

About the Role

This is a hands-on cleaning position within a seafood processing environment. Your main responsibility will be ensuring our factory, processing areas, offices and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and ready for production. Hours: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and washing down seafood processing areas
- Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production equipment
- High-pressure washing of floors, walls and work areas
- Cleaning benches, drains, tubs and food-contact surfaces
- Correct use of cleaning chemicals and sanitising products
- Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
- Completing cleaning and sanitation records where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following HACCP and food-safety procedures




- Working safely around machinery and production equipment

What We're Looking For

Previous industrial or food-processing cleaning experience is essential.

The successful applicant must

- Have previous experience in industrial, factory or food-production cleaning
- Understand HACCP and food-safety procedures
- Understand cleaning and sanitising requirements in a food facility
- Be comfortable working in a wet and cold environment
- Be physically fit and capable of manual cleaning duties
- Have positive attention to detail
- Be reliable and punctual for a 5:00 AM start
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understand workplace health and safety requirements
- Have full Australian working rights

Experience cleaning seafood, meat, poultry or other food-processing facilities will be highly regarded.
