About the Role As an Infrastructure Crew member (Sportsfields), you will help maintain and improve sporting and recreational infrastructure across the municipality. Working as part of a skilled field-based team, you'll undertake a range of construction, maintenance and repair activities while operating plant and equipment safely and effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in delivering quality infrastructure outcomes and values teamwork and community impact.
What You’ll deliver Repair and maintenance of sports fields and associated infrastructure assets
Safe operation and maintenance of plant, vehicles and equipment
Delivery of maintenance works to required quality and safety standards
Identification and resolution of infrastructure issues before they become larger problems
Positive contribution to a high-performing and safety-focused team
What You’ll Bring Experience in construction, turf maintenance, infrastructure asset maintenance, landscaping or a similar field-based environment
Experience operating plant and equipment safely and effectively
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage positively with the community
White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence
Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (desirable)
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio).
