The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new Data Center Infrastructure. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join the growing team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and upskill.

The candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality.

This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.

Key job responsibilities

- Adhere to security and safety best practices in the Data Center.

- Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling.

- Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.

- Creating/attaching labels and barcodes.

- Regularly lift 15kg or move objects into position.

- Regularly work at heights and from ladders/EWP

- Managing inventory of related materials.

- Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.

- Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.

- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required, some travel outside traditional work area may be requested.

- Understanding of cabling procedure.

A day in the life A normal day involve working inside a Data Center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time

- Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth roll out of current designs and products.

About The Candidate

2 years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience

- High school or equivalent diploma, or experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies

- 1 years of computer networking experience

- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
