Role Overview

- Lead end-to-end infrastructure deal pursuits including RFP/RFI response, solution design, commercial modelling, and executive presentations.
- Develop differentiated infrastructure transformation solutions spanning cloud, data centre, networks, end-user computing, and managed services.
- Work closely with delivery, alliance, and commercial teams to build winning bid strategies that address client business drivers and TCO imperatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO stakeholders, clearly articulating TCS's infrastructure capabilities and value propositions.
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable solution assets: reference architectures, case studies, pricing models, and proposal content.
- Represent TCS at industry forums, client events, and analyst briefings as a subject matter expert in infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions integrating on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments tailored to client requirements.
- Pursuit: Drive pursuit governance — from qualification to proposal submission — ensuring quality, compliance, and differentiation at every stage.
- Commercial Structuring: Collaborate with finance and delivery on pricing, SLAs, and commercial models (capex/opex, managed services, outcome-based).
- Client Workshops: Facilitate discovery workshops, PoC scoping, and solution validation sessions with client technical and business stakeholders.
- Alliances & OEMs:



Leverage partnerships with OEMs and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, HPE, Dell, Cisco) to co-create and enhance solution value.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to whitepapers, solution playbooks, and go-to-market strategies in areas like SDDC, network modernisation, and AIOps.
- Stakeholder Management: Align internal delivery, legal, and executive sponsors while managing external client expectations throughout the pursuit lifecycle.

Qualifications

- 10–15 years of total IT experience with experience in infrastructure presales or solutions consulting role.
- Proven track record of winning large-scale infrastructure deals (USD 25M+ TCV) in a global services setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, TOGAF, ITIL Expert, VCP, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and navigate complex client organisations.
- Experience working in BFSI, Retail, Energy and Utilities verticals is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings and pursuits.
