THE ROLE:

The Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for the effective day-to-day coordination, maintenance and management of Council's buildings, facilities, staff housing, heavy plant and vehicle fleet. The role ensures that Council assets are maintained to a high standard through the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, contractor engagement, asset and maintenance record management, and the timely resolution of operational requests. The position also supports the delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects, contributing to efficient service delivery, asset sustainability and positive community outcomes across the Shire.

THE BENEFITS:

Croydon Shire Council offers a total remuneration package valued at approximately $103k to $112k. The package includes a base salary from $85k, 12% superannuation, locality allowance up to $6,700 p.a., five weeks paid annual leave and 17.5% leave loading. You'll also have access to low-cost housing, a free annual gym membership and up to $3,000 relocation assistance.



The role is full time with a nine-day fortnight.

ABOUT YOU:

Our ideal candidate is a proactive and hands-on leader with strong experience in infrastructure, facilities, asset management or local government operations. You are highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and have a proven ability to coordinate maintenance programs, contractors, projects and operational resources to achieve highquality outcomes. With well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you build positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, suppliers and community members, while demonstrating sound judgement, initiative and a commitment to excellent customer service.

You are a practical problem solver who thrives in a diverse and dynamic environment. You possess strong project management, planning and budgeting skills, combined with the ability to lead and mentor teams in a collaborative and safety-focused manner. You are committed to continuous improvement, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legislative, governance and workplace health and safety requirements.
