The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean offers opportunities to gain experience within an international organisation, which will ultimately enhance your personal and professional growth. The UfM Secretariat offers several opportunities for young graduate and postgraduate students or recently graduated candidates.

General Requirement

Under 30 years of age. Be a national of any UfM Members States Recent graduates or students enrolled in a degree or post-secondary education programme at the time of application and during the internship, having completed at least one year of full-time studies. Internship agreement with University is mandatory for both currently enrolled students and recent graduates. Positive command of English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Arabic is an asset.

Remuneration





Interns receive a monthly allowance of 550€ Interns who were not residing in Barcelona area prior to the start of the internship will be eligible for an additional housing allowance (550€).

Duration The internship duration is 6 months. UfM Study Visits There are no Open Vacancies at the moment. More information The UfM Code of Conduct and the Antifraud Policy Applicants should apply to the Internship Programme only if they meet the minimum criteria and if they are nationals of UfM Members States. Please note that due to the large number of applicants, the HR unit is not necessarily in a position to reply to each request and only short-listed applicants will be contacted for an interview.
