AMPYR Australia:

- Is constructing the 300 MW / 600 MWh Bulabul 1 BESS project, along with a rapidly growing pipeline of more than 2,500 MW of utility energy storage projects.
- Owns a 14 MW portfolio of C&I; solar assets across 130+ sites and is developing a 300 MW portfolio of distributed BESS assets.

Overview The Investment Analyst supports AMPYR Australia’s capital agenda across capital raising (equity and debt), project finance transactions, and investment analysis, working closely with the Capital team to progress transactions from origination through to completion.

The role supports capital execution with transaction management, due diligence Q&A;, financial modelling,



and the preparation of materials for Investment Committees and external financiers. It plays an active role in day-to-day stakeholder engagement across live transactions.

The role works internally across AMPYR Australia teams including Development, Customer, Technical, Grid, Legal, and Construction. Externally it engages with both current and prospective investors and lenders, advisers, and project counterparties.

Responsibilities

Investment & Transactions

- Manage project finance transactions and other capital raising processes, coordinating advisers, lenders and internal teams
- Own due diligence Q&A; and data room processes
- Draft internal IC approval papers and other transaction deliverables (teasers, IMs)
- Build and manage financial models for transactions

Business & Strategic Development

- Contribute to platform funding strategies
- Develop templates and frameworks to help mature the business
- Market screening and analysis for new origination opportunities and partnerships

Project & Portfolio Support

- Provide investment and finance oversight in Project SteerCos
- Monitor and report on performance, risks and budgets across the portfolio
- Assist with First Nations engagement, tenders and other procurement activities
- Analyse potential offtake contracts and revenue mechanisms

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure funds, project finance, corporate finance,



or energy project development
- Demonstrated experience in transaction execution, with strong financial modelling skills including project finance cashflow models and investment analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Strongly preferred

- Exposure to BESS, renewable energy, or similar infrastructure sectors; direct project experience preferred but a genuine interest in the energy transition is valued
- Experience with project finance modelling tools

Behavioural Competencies

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Analytical and structured problem solver, detail-oriented, with solid modelling capability
- Strong understanding of BESS and energy markets
- Self-starter who is proactive, resilient and improvement-minded; collaborative with a long-term outlook
