Reporting to the Head of Direct Investments, this role will lead the evaluation and execution of direct investment opportunities from origination through to due diligence, transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management. Working closely with founders, industry experts and investment committee stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in assessing investment opportunities, structuring transactions and where required to, taking a Board Observer role and helping portfolio companies to achieve long-term value creation. The role will also provide leadership to junior investment professionals and contribute to the ongoing development of the team's investment processes and strategy.





The successful candidate will have a strong track record in venture capital, growth equity, private equity or investment banking, with demonstrated experience leading complex investment opportunities and managing transactions from initial assessment through to execution. They will possess strong commercial judgement, financial modelling and valuation capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with founders, co-investors and advisers. Previous experience mentoring junior team members and presenting investment recommendations to senior decision-makers will be highly regarded.
