Our client is a high profile brand and have a mature IT environment. They are looking for an IT BA who has experience within Retail/Supply Chain/Logistics to help out with some key projects.

This is an initial 3 month contract, potential extension, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office) and parking on site as they are located just east of the Melbourne CBD near Richmond. They have an excellent culture, great leadership and interesting and cutting edge projects.

This will be ideal for an IT Business Analyst who has significant experience within the Retail/Supply Chain/Logistics sector and has worked across a variety of Supply Chain related projects within the business.

Ideally experience leading projects and being able to perform some high level testing would be essential.

Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into technical specification including data models and functionality of end user apps (e.g. Business Intelligence solutions).
- Identify gaps in current availability of data to delivery solution and propose recommendations to address these including recent definitions, metrics, dimensions or metadata.




- Work with different teams to identify future data needs to deliver target state or models as per customer needs.
- Conduct investigative work to identify appropriate and practical solutions which meet the needs of the business, align to enterprise standards, and ensure that the team can deliver outcomes.
- Ensure technical specifications communicate user requirements in technical terms for submission to development teams.
- Interpret and translate analysis results into quality technical specifications and or user stories that are insightful, clear and succinct.

Requirements:

- Significant experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Experience or at least 6 months exposure to working within the Supply Chain/Logistics industry as a Business Analyst
- Ability to do high level testing
- Experience ideally in Agile environments and experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with user stories
- The ability to work within tight deadlines
- Ability to liaise with C level and exec staff and present to them if need be
- Get involved in various meetings and run workshops
