Open to Graduates | Pathway into Software Development | Permanent Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Officer to join a growing organisation based in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. This role is ideal for a recent IT graduate or junior IT skilled looking to build hands-on experience across IT support, device management, business systems, and application support.You'll work alongside experienced in-house developers, gain exposure to software testing and application support, and receive mentorship to help grow your technical skills. This role is replacing an employee who has successfully progressed from IT Support into a Developer position within the business.The organisation is known for its collaborative culture, strong team environment, regular social events, and commitment to employee growth and development.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide first-line IT support across hardware, software, mobile devices, and business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues, escalating complex matters to the managed service provider (MSP) when required.
- Support the onboarding of new employees, including workstation setup, user configuration, software installation, and equipment allocation.
- Manage Apple devices through Microsoft Intune, including enrolment, configuration, and ongoing support.
- Administer software licences, subscriptions, and user access requests.
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement and liaise with external vendors and service providers.
- Manage company drone devices, including setup, maintenance coordination, repairs, and reissue processes.
- Assist with GPS tracking systems across company vehicles and coordinate installations with external contractors.
- Monitor IT support requests and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Maintain IT asset records, technology inventory, and internal documentation.
- Assist with software testing, bug identification,



and collaboration with the internal development team on business applications.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar technical support role, or a relevant IT qualification.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, Microsoft applications, hardware, and mobile devices.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune or mobile device management solutions would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Interest in software development, coding, or application support is highly desirable.
- Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
