About Us

YURICA Japanese Kitchen is a modern Japanese restaurant located just a few minutes from North Sydney Station. We are passionate about serving fresh, authentic Japanese cuisine made to order, while creating a positive and supportive workplace for our team.

We are looking for a motivated Cook or Chef to join our hot kitchen. Whether you already have Japanese cooking experience or are eager to learn, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Prepare and cook Japanese hot food including donburi, ramen, udon, katsu, tempura and grilled dishes
- Prepare ingredients and maintain food quality throughout service
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality

What We’re Looking For





- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Japanese restaurant experience is preferred but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
- Valuable communication skills
