Joinery Drafter – Palette Cad or Microvellum Experience Required

Weston Kitchens is a high-end custom cabinetry and joinery company delivering premium residential and commercial projects across South East QLD. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Joinery Drafter with strong Microvellum experience to join our team.

The Role

Working closely with our design, production, and installation teams, you will be responsible for preparing detailed joinery drawings, production documentation, and CNC-ready outputs for custom cabinetry projects. This is a fantastic prospect for someone who enjoys working on high-quality bespoke projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings and production documentation
- Create and manage Palette Cad and/or Microvellum projects from design through to manufacture
- Produce CNC-ready files and cut lists
- Coordinate with designers, cabinet makers, and project managers
- Ensure drawings meet production and installation requirements
- Maintain drawing accuracy, efficiency,



and consistency across projects

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as a Joinery Drafter or Cabinetry Draftsperson
- Strong working knowledge of Palette Cad or Microvellum with a minimum of 6-12 months experience
- Understanding of cabinetry construction methods and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian permanent residency status required
