We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for the integrity of the general ledger, day-to-day accounting operations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support management decisions. $80,000 - $90,000 per year + Super About the business: Dimeo Cleaning Services has operated in Australia for over 35 years, delivering high-quality commercial cleaning and facilities support services across major corporate, government, and private sector clients. Key Responsibilities

- Manage the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and GST returns, ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with the company’s annual financial audit and income tax return.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls in line with group policies and governance procedures.




- Make financial recommendations on operational aspects and identify risks and opportunities to improve performance and productivity.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate cost allocation across business entities and departments.
- Manage and monitor fixed assets, including depreciation and vehicle registers.
- Support month end close processes, incl. preparation of accruals, prepayments, inventory adjustments, and lease accounting schedules.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and additional month-end reporting.
- Supervise AP and AR functions and provide support.

Skills and experience

- Minimums 2 years’ experience on relevant field.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (heading toward to CA/CPA is a plus).
- Solid communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
- Have worked in a medium to large-sized enterprise
- Familiarity with Accounting & reporting software: MYOB, Business Central, Power BI, Paypac.
- Advanced Excel skills – minimum VLOOKUP, pivot tables. Benefits:
