Quinn Allan are partnering with a well-established global organisation to recruit an Accountant to join their team-oriented finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant or Accountant looking to further develop their technical accounting skills within a large, high-performing finance function. The role offers broad exposure across month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial accounting, with opportunities to build your experience in a complex corporate environment.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive finance team, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the month-end close process
- Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Preparing and posting accounting adjustments
- Assisting with monthly reporting and financial analysis




- Maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring accuracy across the general ledger
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and finance projects
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and provide financial support

About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Accountant position
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and fundamental accounting principles
- Experience preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential
