? Junior Cost Controller

? About APD Global

Our New Zealand team plays a key role in high-voltage transmission and distribution projects supporting New Zealand’s energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring and controlling cost activities through project lifecycle
- Supporting the implementation of project cost management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance
- Ensuring that cost reports are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes and procedures
- Developing project budgets in accordance with project estimate
- Producing updates to project cost forecasts
- Issuing project change orders/variations
- Liaise with project management, project planning and others as required to ensure accuracy in project cost phasing and forecasting
- Liaise with procurement, finance and time-capture functions, and third parties as required, to ensure accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials,



subcontract and labour manhour costs.
- Ensure costs are allocated accurately in accordance with approved project cost
- Assess and communicate cost and schedule impact of change notifications

? What You’ll Bring

- Previous cost controller experience desirable
- Degree in relevant technical or business discipline or can be substituted by suitable industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management
- High attention to detail and solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Contract administration exposure, including the practical application of AS standard forms of contracts
- Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and prior experience with SAP highly regarded.
