Junior Developer
Role Description The Junior Developer will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that meet business and operational requirements. This role is responsible for contributing to software development projects, assisting in troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-quality solutions.
The position will collaborate with senior developers, business users, and cross-functional teams to develop application features, enhance existing systems, and support system integration activities. The role will participate in coding, debugging, testing, documenting technical solutions, and maintaining application performance while following established development standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, assisting with application testing, resolving software defects, supporting system deployments, preparing technical documentation, and participating in code reviews.
The Junior
Developer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by learning new technologies, improving development processes,
and supporting innovation across software projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of software development principles, programming concepts, and application development methodologies.
Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Basic understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, and web application development.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Positive communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a development environment.
Willingness to learn new technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices.
Ability to manage assigned tasks, meet project deadlines, and deliver quality software solutions.
