Position Summary

The Junior Operational Finance Administrator provides administrative and financial support to the Operational Finance team. The role is responsible for validating creditor invoices, accurately allocating and posting costs to the relevant jobs within DSV's finance systems, maintaining financial records, and supporting day-to-day finance activities. The position works closely with operational teams and suppliers to ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner while contributing to the efficient management of branch financial operations.

Role Duties:

- Validate, review, and process creditor and supplier invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Accurately allocate supplier costs and charges to the relevant jobs and cost centres.
- Enter financial data into DSV finance systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies through liaison with operational teams and suppliers.
- Support the accounts payable function to ensure invoices are approved and processed within required timeframes.
- Assist with raising customer invoices as required.
- Support month-end activities, reporting, and reconciliations as directed by the Operational Finance team.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare reports and compile financial information as requested by management.
- Assist with general administrative and finance-related duties across the branch.
- Support operational teams with data entry, reporting, and financial administration requirements.




- Complete designated projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Operational Finance Manager and Management Team.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in administration, accounts payable, finance support, or data entry is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review, validate, and process financial information.
- Valuable organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A willingness to learn finance processes, systems, and operational procedures.
- Customer-focused approach with a high level of professionalism and accountability.
