Casual Staff–Animal Care Attendant

We are seeking a strong animal lover to Join our Pet Resort Team MUST be flexible and have availability over a 7 day roster Monday to Sunday this will include school holidays and public holidays! Shifts are between 7am to 4.30pm. Ranging from 15 hrs to 35hrs a week, This is a very physical job and includes a lot of exercise.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Deep cleaning of pet areas

· Feeding dogs and cats

· Observation and recording of Cats and Dogs health, wellbeing and playtimes

· Weighing of all Cats and Dogs for longs stays

· Giving daily medications as needed

· Exercising of Dogs

· Bathing and basic grooming of Dogs

· Other cleaning duties as required

· Basic computer use for bookings

· Great customer service

· Operating phone calls

Must have:

· Must be Reliable and flexible with hours and willing to be on call as a fill in worker

· Must be confident and have great communication skills





· An eagerness to learn and get their hands dirty

· Must be able to undertake physical activities as required including heavy lifting

· Be able to work under pressure and have good time management skills as this is a fast paced work workplace.

· Work both in a team and independently

· Good reading and writing skills

· Must be compassionate

· General Computer Skills

· Licence and own vehicle
