Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils
- Cleaning kitchen floors and maintaining all work areas to high standards
- Cleaning and maintaining deep fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Receiving, storing, and rotating stock deliveries
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Following food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene procedures
- Safely handling and using cleaning chemicals and sanitising products
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
What We're Looking For:
- Previous worked as kitchen hand with 2 years experience preferred
- Sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their safe use, and storage
- Understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Availability for weekdays, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Full working rights in Australia
