Role: L3 Support Engineer- open‑source DNS (BIND)

Location: Sydney

Contract

Key Expectations

- Provide L3 support for the current DNS platform.
- Work closely with customer SMEs to build domain knowledge and support ongoing operations.
- Mentor and uplift the capabilities of the L1/L2 support teams through knowledge transfer, documentation, runbooks, and operational coaching.
- Support the DNS environment within a shared-responsibility operating model.
- F5 DNS expertise would be a strong advantage , as the customer is also introducing F5 DNS capabilities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Robust DNS administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Expertise in Open-Source DNS platforms (e.g., BIND, Unbound, PowerDNS).
- Experience in DNS architecture, operations, and service continuity.
- Knowledge of F5 DNS/GTM (preferred).
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or telecom environments.
- Strong documentation, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder management skills.
