Lash Blossom is seeking a skilled Lash Technician to join our team at Sydney CBD.

$76,423 - $85,000

(equivalent to $40.18 - $43 per hour)

Not inclusive of superannuation or other benefits

Reports to

You will be working under the direct control of our director and founder, Yujeong Lin Seto, as well as our director Jason Seto. You will also be supported by other members of our staff.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing advice, treatments, and enhancements to our client's lashes as per their needs and suitabiliities.

Main Tasks and Duties

- Consulting with clients to discuss needs, desired outcomes, medical history, allergies, and contraindications; analysing skin type, eye shape, natural lash density, health and growth cycle to determine suitable treatments.
- Designing and mapping personalised lash sets; advising on aftercare, skin care and make-up application.
- Applying classic, hybrid, volume and mega-volume eyelash extensions using isolation techniques; selecting appropriate lash curl, diameter, length and adhesive for each client.
- Performing lash lifts, perms and keratin treatments; carrying out infills, maintenance and protected removal of existing extension sets.
- Applying corrective and cosmetic make-up, including lash and eye enhancement techniques.
- Tinting and bleaching lashes and brows; performing hair removal through waxing, depilation, bleaching and electrolysis.
- Conducting patch testing prior to tinting and adhesive-based treatments; maintaining sanitation, sterilisation and infection-control standards.
- Managing client bookings,



appointments and confidential records including treatment notes, patch-test results and consent forms.
- Advising on and selling lash aftercare products, serums, brushes and complementary skin-care items.
- Evaluating treatment outcomes, adhesive performance, product quality and retention rates; recommending improvements to technique and service delivery.

Qualifications Required

- Certificate III in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, or higher
- Experience can substitute for the qualification

Experience Required

- 1-3 years experience, depending on qualifications

Skills Required

- Applying eyelash extensions (classic, hybrid, volume), lash lifts, lash and brow tinting, brow shaping and waxing, and designing and applying cosmetic and corrective make-up.
- Delivering facial treatments and skin-care recommendations, body massage, cosmetic tanning, and manicure and pedicure services including electric file use.
- Applying knowledge of skin structure and body systems to analyse skin and lash condition, identify contraindications, and make sound treatment and lifestyle recommendations.
- Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards for eye-area treatments, safe handling of adhesives and chemicals, and compliance with WHS and organisational requirements.
- Consulting with clients, managing bookings and records, selling aftercare and retail products, processing transactions, keeping current with industry practice, and representing the business professionally online.
