A leading top-tier law firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer or Senior Associate (3+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Employment practice in Sydney. Working alongside two of Australia's leading employment partners, this is an opportunity to advise major Australian and multinational organisations, government bodies and senior executives on some of the market's most sophisticated workplace matters.

The team has built an outstanding reputation for delivering strategic employment advice while acting on complex, high-profile disputes, investigations and regulatory matters. This role offers an exceptional platform for an employment lawyer looking to accelerate their career within one of the country's premier employment practices.

The Team

Part of a nationally recognised practice, the Employment team advises employers across the full spectrum of workplace law, combining strategic advisory work with complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Working closely with two highly respected partners, you will gain exposure to matters including:

- Employment litigation before the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court, Supreme Courts and other specialist tribunals.
- Complex workplace investigations involving executive misconduct, whistleblower complaints, discrimination, bullying and regulatory issues.
- Employment and industrial relations aspects of major mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions.
- Executive employment, remuneration, incentive arrangements and senior executive exits.
- Workplace restructures, organisational change, redundancy programs and industrial relations strategy.




- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, restraint of trade, confidentiality and post-employment obligations.
- Sensitive disputes involving breaches of fiduciary duties, employee fraud, urgent injunctions and enforcement of post-employment restraints.
- Workplace health and safety investigations, prosecutions and regulatory enforcement matters.

The partners are recognised for providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice to some of Australia's largest employers across a broad range of industries. Their practice combines day-to-day strategic advisory work with technically challenging litigation, providing lawyers with genuine breadth of experience and direct access to sophisticated clients. Ideally you will ideally bring:
- 3+ years' PAE specialising in Employment or Workplace Relations.
- Experience across both advisory and contentious employment matters.
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills.
- Commercial judgement with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build trusted client relationships.
- A collaborative approach and genuine desire to work within a market-leading employment practice.
