As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EIC) Engineer to lead our engineering team, strengthen client partnerships, and help shape the future of engineering delivery. The Chance

As TechnoGen's Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EIC) Engineer, you'll provide technical and people leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects within the mining, process plant and power generation sectors. You'll lead a team of engineers and designers delivering EIC solutions across studies, FEED, detailed design, construction support and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll provide technical direction, oversee engineering governance and design quality, mentor engineers and work closely with clients to develop practical, innovative engineering solutions. Your ability to influence people,



lead change and build trusted client relationships will be just as important as your technical expertise.

You'll play a key role in strengthening TechnoGen's technical capability by driving continuous improvement, supporting engineering standards and contributing to the growth of our client relationships.

Based in Perth and offered on a full-time permanent basis, this role is ideal for an experienced EIC engineering leader who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, developing people and making a meaningful contribution within a growing engineering consultancy.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation or Software Engineering.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) delivering Electrical, Instrumentation and Control engineering projects from studies and FEED through detailed design, construction support and commissioning within mining, process plants, power generation or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams while building high-performing cultures founded on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success leading organisational and engineering change, implementing improved engineering systems, governance and standards.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting business development,



proposal preparation and identifying opportunities to deliver additional value.
- Extensive technical knowledge of Australian Standards, HV/LV power systems, instrumentation, automation and control systems, functional safety, hazardous area engineering and industry best practice.
- Experience leading engineering governance, technical assurance, design reviews, preparation and review of technical documentation, project delivery, risk management and quality across multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience supporting site construction, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Strong commercial awareness, balancing technical excellence with project budgets, schedules, resource utilisation, and client outcomes.
- An authentic leadership style, exceptional communication and influencing skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach that inspires confidence across clients, project teams, and senior stakeholders.
- CPEng status, Functional Safety Certification and EEHA Certification are highly regarded
