As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking a self-driven HD Mechanic to join our Naval Base workshop. This role suits someone who thrives in a small team setting and takes pride in owning end-to-end maintenance across a varied fleet.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment, including: Cranes (20–350T), trucks, light vehicles, EWPs, scissor lifts, telehandlers, generators and more
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Planning and prioritising daily maintenance tasks
- Working independently with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records

About You
You will bring
- Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience maintaining a wide range of plant and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
