Role Title: Legal Counsel, ANZ

The role

Logicalis Australia is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our Melbourne-based team. This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of legal, commercial, compliance and risk matters within a global technology business. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you will provide practical legal support that enables the business to operate effectively while managing legal and commercial risk.

The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to develop experience across multiple areas of practice including commercial contracting, privacy, compliance, procurement, employment matters and dispute management.

Key Accountabilities

· Providing practical legal and commercial advice to business stakeholders across a variety of operational and strategic matters. · Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work and standard terms and conditions.

· Supporting bid and tender activities through legal review and risk assessment.

· Assisting with corporate compliance requirements and reporting obligations.

· Supporting privacy, data protection and governance initiatives across the business.

· Assisting with the management of customer and supplier disputes where required.





· Providing support on employment and workplace matters in partnership with People & Culture and external advisers as appropriate.

· Contributing legal expertise to business projects and strategic initiatives.

· Building strong relationships with local, regional and global stakeholders to support business objectives.

Experience and qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Law and eligibility to practise in Australia. · Around 3–7 years post-qualification experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.

· Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

· Good commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach to managing risk.

· A willingness to learn and develop across a broad range of legal and business matters.

· The ability to work independently while remaining cooperative and approachable.

· Experience in technology, telecommunications, privacy, cybersecurity or data protection matters will be highly regarded but is not essential.
