About Us Sugar Nightclub and Spice Nightlife are vibrant hospitality venues located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Queensland. We operate as a dynamic nightclub and restaurant, offering premium food, beverages, live entertainment, and exceptional customer service in a safe and welcoming setting. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Club Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our venue and lead our team in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (mandatory).
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience as a Licensed Club Manager or in a similar management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming legislation, workplace health and safety, and hospitality operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise bar, restaurant, and function services.
- Plan, book, and supervise sporting, gaming, and entertainment activities.
- Supervise security arrangements and property maintenance.
- Arrange member subscriptions and maintain membership records where applicable.
- Observe and ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, health, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
- Compile and organise the distribution of newsletters and other communications to keep members informed of upcoming events and available facilities.
- Assess and review member satisfaction and preferences to improve services and customer experience.
- Liaise with community groups sponsored and supported by the club.
- Select, train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
