Working a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth, you'll join the project's plant maintenance team, helping keep the project's light vehicle fleet safe, reliable and available to support day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced mechanic who enjoys working in a busy site environment and takes pride in maintaining vehicles to a high standard.

About the role
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you'll use your trade skills and experience to service, diagnose and repair the project's light vehicle fleet to the required standards of safety and reliability.
Working as part of the site maintenance team, you'll undertake preventative maintenance and repairs, respond to faults and breakdowns and help ensure vehicles remain available to support the project's operations.
What you'll be doing
Perform preventative and scheduled servicing across the project's light vehicle fleet
Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical repairs and breakdown maintenance
Carry out inspections and identify defects or emerging maintenance issues
Use strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical issues
Ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained to required safety and reliability standards
Respond to breakdowns and work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately and on time
Work collaboratively with the Workshop Supervisor and wider plant maintenance team
Provide guidance and support to apprentices where required
Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with Georgiou's safety, quality and compliance requirements
Your skills and experience
Australian recognised Light Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification
Demonstrated post-trade experience in light vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
Previous experience working in field service operations will be highly regarded
Previous mining, FIFO or large-scale civil construction experience will be highly regarded
Strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
Effective communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Construction White Card
Valid C Class driver's licence, with HR licence highly regarded
Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the role
