We're partnering with a leading global fashion brand to recruit a Logistics Analyst to join their Sydney Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on international logistics coordination with data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, high-performing supply chain team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of products across global markets while delivering valuable insights that improve logistics performance, cost efficiency and operational excellence.
This role offers a great balance between operations and analytics, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data and collaborating across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international and domestic freight movements across air, sea, road and courier networks.
- Monitor shipments, proactively manage delays and resolve operational issues.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and 3PL providers.
- Analyse freight spend, lead times, service levels and logistics performance.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Support customs clearance and trade compliance activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
- Contribute to automation, AI and supply chain technology projects.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Wholesale, Production and Planning teams to support business operations.
About You We're looking for someone who brings:
- 3–7 years' experience in logistics, international freight or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of international air and sea freight operations.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and/or 3PL providers.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP and analysing large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards and logistics performance metrics.
- Knowledge of customs, international shipping documentation and trade compliance.
- Experience within fashion, retail, luxury or consumer goods will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to ERP systems, WMS, freight management platforms or Power BI is advantageous.
