Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting the operational and logistical needs of DAS Lab. Day-to-day tasks include tracking and managing inventory and lab resources, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and maintaining organized records of equipment, materials, and supplies.
The role involves working with internal and external contacts to schedule and monitor orders, resolve logistical issues, and ensure timely distribution of resources for research projects.
The Logistics
Coordinator will also assist with reporting on supply chain activities, updating databases and documentation, and providing responsive service to lab members and partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust analytical skills to track inventory, interpret logistics data, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with lab members, vendors,
and partners in a clear and professional manner.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to respond promptly to requests, address issues, and support a positive experience for stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess inventory management skills to monitor stock levels, organize storage, and maintain accurate records.
- Candidates should possess supply chain management skills to coordinate orders, shipments, and delivery timelines.
- Relevant experience in logistics, operations, or administrative coordination is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines is required.
- Familiarity with basic office and collaboration tools (such as spreadsheets, project tracking, and online communication platforms) is preferred.
