Logistics Specialist

Role Description The Logistics Specialist will coordinate and support logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials. This role is responsible for optimizing logistics processes, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting timely and cost-effective delivery.

The position will coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, internal teams, and other stakeholders to manage transportation and logistics activities. The role will monitor shipment status, arrange deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and ensure that documentation and operational procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, tracking deliveries, preparing and maintaining logistics documentation, monitoring inventory movements, coordinating with transportation providers, and supporting warehouse activities. The Logistics Specialist will also analyze logistics performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to cost control and operational efficiency.

Qualifications





- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation processes, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Understanding of shipping documentation, delivery processes, customs procedures, and supply chain practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with familiarity with logistics or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor logistics performance, identify operational issues, and implement practical solutions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, adaptability, and commitment to productive and reliable logistics operations.
