Role Details

- Location: Established and new projects across Western Australia
- Flights: FIFO Perth or DIDO Kalgoorlie/Goldfields
- Roster: 7/7 (rotating days and nights) OR 14/14 (days and nights)
- Brand-new Sandvik fleets on site - DL432i, DL422i - with more arriving soon

Responsibilities





- Operate Sandvik DL422i and DL432i longhole drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner
- Utilise advance automation and rig control systems, including iSeries controls on the DL432i
- Conduct pre-start checks, routine inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment
- Maintain accurate drilling records and production data
- Collaborate with the underground team to optimise drilling performance and productivity
- Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 2 years experience in underground drilling with a strong focus on up-hole drilling
- Solid understanding of longhole stoping methods and production drilling principles
- Proven ability to read and interpret mine plans, drill designs, layout and stope instructions
- Sound knowledge of ground support practices and safe stope entry procedures
- Strong awareness and application of underground mining safety standards and regulations
- Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers licence (essential)
- High Risk Work Licence - EWP, Forklift, Dogging (desirable)
- Cert III in Underground Metalliferous Mining (desirable)
