Our Client
Our client is a cable manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD. They are looking for machine operators with LF licenses who can work on a fixed rotating roster (weekly).
About the Role:
You will be working with a team operating various machines (training provided).
This will be a long-term ongoing position to go permanent full-time after 4-6 months depending on your work performance and attendance.
- Morning Shift: $33.38/hr + Super
- Night Shift: $38.39/hr + Super
Duties and responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Loading and moving materials using a forklift
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Assisting with machine setups and changeovers
- Working with the production team to meet daily targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe work workplace
- Following safety and quality procedures
- General factory and production duties as required
About you:
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experienc
- Product assembly experience.
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools.
- A forklift license is a MUST (no experience required)
- Can work on a fixed rotating roster (see roster sample above)
- Physically fit to do manual handling duties.
