We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy sheet metal manufacturing team. The role involves operating sheet metal machines to produce high quality products in a fast paced production environment.
To be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar sheet metal environment. You will be confident reading production orders, performing quality checks, accurately measuring finished products, and maintaining a safe and organised work area.
ROLE
- Operating and setting roll forming machinery
- Read and interpret drawings
- Operate overhead cranes
- Forklift operations
- Quality checks on finished products
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience operating sheetmetal or steel machinery
- Current forklift licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift with JIB attachment (highly regarded)
- Experienced in using measuring tools and reading drawings
- Follow WHS requirements
