About the Role
You'll provide technical leadership across critical Mainframe infrastructure, ensuring platform stability, performance, security and resilience while driving upgrades, automation and modernisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Mainframe operations, upgrades and enhancements
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide expert advice
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders
- Mentor and develop technical team members
Skills &
Experience
- Extensive experience in enterprise Mainframe environments
- Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS and Mainframe infrastructure
- Experience with technologies such as RACF, Db2, CICS, IMS, GDPS, DFSMS and z/OSMF
- Knowledge of JCL, REXX, COBOL, Assembler and scripting languages
- Robust leadership, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
