Longridge Aged Care is looking for an experienced Builds & Maintenance 2IC to help keep our aged care home, independent living units and grounds safe, well maintained and welcoming for our residents.

Working closely with the CEO, you'll combine hands-on maintenance with coordinating daily maintenance activities, contractors and the maintenance team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- General building and property maintenance.
- Coordinating and prioritising maintenance requests.
- Supporting and leading the maintenance team.
- Managing contractors and ensuring work is completed safely.
- Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Assisting with refurbishments and improvement projects.
- Participating in an after-hours on-call roster when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in building, property or facilities maintenance.
- Strong practical repair and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supervising staff or coordinating contractors.




- A commitment to workplace safety.
- Valuable communication and organisational skills.
- A current unrestricted driver's licence.

Desirable:

- Trade qualification preferred.
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or a similar environment.
- Relevant licences such as White Card, First Aid or Working at Heights.
