Roster: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off (14/7 FIFO Roster)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in Hydropower or Power Generation to lead maintenance planning, predictive maintenance, and asset lifecycle management for a large-scale power generation facility. This role will also support Operational Risk Management, ensuring maintenance activities align with industry best practices and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the Maintenance Management Plan, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability and performance.
- Review and improve Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) manuals, maintenance procedures, operational documentation, and asset preservation strategies.
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during construction, commissioning, and operational phases while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Deliver technical training on predictive maintenance and equipment maintenance, and prepare customer training materials and documentation.




- Support operational risk management by participating in risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, updating risk management systems, and ensuring compliance with ISO 31000 principles.

Key Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5 years of experience in maintenance and operations within a Hydropower Plant, Power Generation Plant, or Energy Plant, including at least 3 years in hydropower or a similar industry.
- Robust knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centred maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and O&M; documentation.
- Exposure to operational risk management with a sound understanding of the ISO 31000 risk management framework.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, training, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams.
