About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team on a Casual basis. You will play an essential role in helping clients of all ages and abilities achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. We offer our clients support with social and recreational activities, daily living tasks, and personal care.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised care and assistance to individuals with a range of disabilities, including varying levels of physical, intellectual, and mental health needs.

Helping clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, and light domestic tasks.

Providing personal care (e.g. showering, toileting, hygiene) where required.

Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their wellbeing and community inclusion.

Promoting client independence and personal goal achievement.

Adhering to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Maintaining detailed notes related to client care and progress.

What we're looking for

Compassionate, caring, and respectful individuals who are passionate about making a difference.

Experience in disability support or other similar vocations.





Minimum of 12 months experience in disability support or related care field is required.

Solid communication skills, with an empathetic and proactive approach.

Reliable and willing to undertake personal care tasks where needed.

A fully insured and reliable vehicle with a current driver's licence.

The legal right to work in Australia.

Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability (highly regarded).

Current Police Check and Working with Children Check are required.

Clients located in Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern and bayside suburbs.

Initial buddy shifts and ongoing support.
