- Performing daily cleaning of common areas including foyers, lobbies, hallways, staircases and lift areas
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Removing rubbish and waste from designated areas in accordance with environmental guidelines
- Cleaning and maintaining windows, glass surfaces and exterior areas as required
- Responding to urgent cleaning requests and spill management situations promptly
- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with workplace standards
- Reporting maintenance issues or building concerns to management
- Restocking cleaning supplies and managing inventory of materials
- Working flexibly to accommodate building schedules, including early starts or weekend work when necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules and activities
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in strata or commercial building cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols in cleaning operations
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work
- Excellent communication skills with residents and management
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for this role
