Help build one of Victoria's newest tourism destinations.

Caldermeade Farm is one of Victoria's most unique visitor attractions.

Located just over an hour from Melbourne on the way to Phillip Island, we're a working dairy farm, café, retail store and tourism destination welcoming thousands of visitors each year. Guests experience everything from guided farm tours and tractor rides to animal encounters, daily milking demonstrations and seasonal events.

We're entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for an enthusiastic Tourism & Guest Experience Coordinator to help take our visitor experience to the next level.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone wanting to grow their career in tourism, hospitality or visitor attractions. You'll work closely with both our Venue Manager and Farm Manager, playing a key role in the daily operation and future development of our tourism department.

About the Role

No two days are the same.

You'll coordinate bookings, support tour operations, communicate with guests before and after their visit, assist with administration, and ensure every visitor leaves with an exceptional experience.

You'll also play an important role behind the scenes by helping improve systems, processes and new tourism products as our department continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily tourism bookings and enquiries
- Manage bookings through FareHarbor
- Assist with scheduling tours, group visits and school bookings
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
- Liaise with tour guides, café staff and farm staff to ensure smooth operations




- Respond to phone and email enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate booking records and reporting
- Assist with administrative duties using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Support the ongoing development of new tourism experiences
- Help identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

About You

You'll be organised, proactive and genuinely enjoy working with people.

You don't necessarily need years of tourism experience, we're looking for someone with the right attitude who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences and wants to grow with our business.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service or another guest-facing role
- Comfortable working around farm animals in an outdoor workplace
- Availability to work approximately 50% of weekends and public holidays throughout the year
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence (preferred)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Experience using booking, POS or business management systems (FareHarbor, Lightspeed Payments or similar is highly regarded)
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
