PlanTech Australia is a leading Asset and Work Management consultancy specialising in maintenance planning, scheduling, SAP/CMMS optimisation and operational improvement across the mining, resources and heavy industrial sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Planners & Schedulers and Master Data Specialists to join our team and support major mining and industrial operations throughout Queensland.

Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

- Develop weekly and shutdown maintenance plans.

- Build and optimise maintenance schedules to maximise equipment availability.

- Plan labour, materials, tooling and contractor requirements.

- Liaise with maintenance supervisors, operations and reliability teams.

- Ensure work is planned safely and efficiently.

- Review completed work and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support shutdown planning and execution activities.

- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and reporting.

Skills & Experience

- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mining or heavy industry.

- Strong understanding of work management processes.

- Experience using SAP PM or similar CMMS systems.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to prioritise competing work demands.





- Trade qualification or engineering background highly regarded.

Master Data Specialist

Key Responsibilities

- Create, review and maintain SAP/CMMS master data.

- Develop equipment records, Bills of Materials (BOMs), task lists and maintenance plans.

- Improve data quality and asset integrity.

- Support maintenance strategy implementation.

- Work closely with engineering, planning and reliability teams.

- Assist with ERP and Asset Management improvement projects.

- Ensure compliance with site standards and governance requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Experience with SAP PM, SAP S/4HANA or Enterprise Asset Management systems.

- Strong understanding of maintenance master data structures.

- Experience creating equipment hierarchies, BOMs, task lists and maintenance plans.

- High level of attention to detail.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Previous mining, processing or heavy industrial experience preferred.
