About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and hands-on Trades Assistant to join our team at our Grong Grong Piggery in New South Wales.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week)
commencing in October 2026. Working alongside our Maintenance team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the site, equipment and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has experience with tools and machinery, and takes pride in maintaining a secure and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of site buildings, equipment and infrastructure.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Carry out basic welding and fabrication duties.
- Support repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment and spare parts.
- Perform general site maintenance, repairs and housekeeping.
